It was an Interesting day today. Justin and I went to lunch
at Fuddruckers before we went to my doctor’s appointment. The lady at the
checkout was appalled with my order. I ordered a 1/3 pound cheeseburger and
asked to have it cooked medium. She informed me that, that was not a good
choice for me as it isn’t good for the baby to eat red meat. She seriously was getting really worked up
about it. I wanted to ask her why she was working at Fuddruckers when she
should obviously be practicing medicine at an OB-GYN Clinic, but I kept my
cool. I don’t think the girl was old enough to even have kids of her own.
Needless to say, my burger was amazing. And it was barely pink on the inside,
so her outburst was uncalled for.
At the doctor’s office I learned that I am completely
normal. I have gained one pound since my last visit two weeks ago. My blood
pressure was a little lower than two weeks ago, but still good. The doctor is
bringing us back in two weeks. She said not that appointment, but probably the
next one she will be doing a sonogram. Yay!
